Ynestra-soft-focus-1, originally uploaded by ~ Dizzle ~.
I picked up some new photo gear last week and did an improptu photo shoot with my friend Ynestra at a few locations around Denver. After posting up a few photos online I decided to start playing with some post processing techniques to practice for some upcoming senior portrait session.
Trying a soft focus action I created to see how well it works…it works, but probably needs a bit of tweaking to get it spot on.

I have been spending my weekends shooting baseball games. Youths sports is what my life has been for many, many years with two very active boys and now a very active little girl entering the sports realm. Pick a weekend and you will find me at some sort of ball field.
I took a moment out of shooting to play with my little buddy Alex, pictured here, and was able to catch this brief moment of calmness from him.
You can see he has already spotted his next adventure and as soon as the shutter closed he was off.

Spring Storm Over the Front Range, originally uploaded by bubba911t.
Ahh…spring time in Colorado. I love it! I found a new place to take pictures in Colorado Springs at an area called Chaparal Open Space. This was taken Wednesday night after a storm was clearing out over the Front Range. To the far left is Cheyenne Mountain, then Mount Rosa, followed my Almagre Mountain, and finally Pikes Peak. Thanks for looking!

I happened to be going through some old photos and came across this one. This was taken in Arches National Park in May, 2005 during a trip with my twin that I will never forget. What an amazing geography the Moab area has. Anyways, it’s always a pleasant surprise to come across a picture you’ve taken that you’ve just as quickly forgotten about. Thanks for looking!
